Stopped by the auto transmission parts store today
and priced a Ford six pinion planet carrier with 
pinions.  $75!! Can't beat the prices to overhaul your own gear box.
Will bolt right in to Tracy's Redrive. The Ross may take a 
bit of rework. Same price for the 2.17:1 or the 2.85:1 set.
Tracy rates this Jewel at 300 HP in his box.

I am working on getting info on the Allison planetary which
should be good to about 600 HP.
