Apparently so. I don't know of anybody that has increased the  size of the
oil pan vent or had any trouble with oil pan venting.
Blow by the oil seals on a Mazda does not seem to be as big a
problem as it is on piston engines.

The one near the oil dipstick is enough Wendell. Re your photogragh I was
advised by my engine builder not to bolt the coil assemblies to the engine.
Too much heat and vibration.
