a Walmart digital fish scale to weigh this kind of stuff.  My fish

scales agrees with

the local UPS scales down to the oz.

Concerning the digital fish scale... be sure to check the accuracy before
you bet any money on it.  I bought a digital fish scale at Wal-Mart and
found it to be way off.  (Yes guys, I really did catch a 10 lb. bass!!!)  I
took it back and the second one was much better.  -- Mark
