Of course the easier and more accurate way is to just hook up the pump

to the attitude gyro and see if it works :-)<

OK, now that sounds much more practical. I can do that! And I'll tee in
my Sears vac gauge as well.....more later. Don't ask me to measure amp
draw!

Why not Marc? It is easy. One wire out of the multi meter goes to the

device

and the other (usually the red one) goes to the battery.

Simpler to connect the meter across the appropriate switch, get her running
, then turn the switch off.
