What volume of air and under what pressure do you think you'd need to get a stratified charge? Could you somehow scavenge pressure from the other rotor to do the trick?

I think about 150 psi. Ten to one compression ratio.
I think you could try it with shop air on a dyno.

That might be an idea. I'll have to think about using the rotor to charge
an accumulator. Trouble is you might get fuel along with the air in
there. What I was thinking was an exhaust driven air compressor of some kind.
