Yes, Jeffco Fuel Tank Sealant is what Lancair also recommends, and does seem to handle avgas and mogas, including that containing ethanol.  The problem lies in the corner of the tanks where there is a thin film of Hysol exposed to the fuel--due to the fuel tank closeout procedure wherein the wing bottom skin is bonded in place last.  That thin film of Hysol, or whatever is used, would have to be covered with Jeffco sealant after fuel tank closeout.  That's how John Harlow fixed his fuel leaks.  He cut a 4 or 5 inch hole in the top of the fuel tank, sanded the inside bottom corners of the tanks, cleaned them thoroughly, applied additional Jeffco sealant to the prepared areas, then closed his access holes using Jeffco epoxy.

5 gallons sealant is probably more than you will ever need for an SQ2000.  I used two gallons sealant for my 92 gallon tanks, giving two generous coatings to all surfaces.

By the way, how is Stan Montgomery and the SQ project doing?  Talked to him the first time they showed the SQ2000 at Oshkosh, even bought his fiberglass videos, but haven't seen much about them recently.
