hi!
I have a Duncan Aviation engine. Single rotary with belt reduction to

Lycoming prop flange.

Hoping you can give me some info for the infrared timing system on the

engine;or any other system available.

I have a Stolph "v Star" project about ready to cover.
Any help would be  appreciated.

Does the timing system work when you turn the engine over with
a starter? Are all four plugs firing? I am sure Tracy can tell
you the advance angle needed.

If not there are several ways of getting a timing pulse
directly from the e-shaft. No distributor needed.
Here is an infrared scheme I came up with.

Got any jpg pictures you can send us. If not perhaps scanned
in photographs?

What does the engine weigh?

FOUR plugs on a single rotary??  Hummm....  But seriously, who makes an
infared timing setup for the single rotor engine??
