hi!
I have a Duncan Aviation engine. Single rotary with belt reduction to

Lycoming

prop flange.

Hoping you can give me some info for the infrared timing system on the

engine;or any other system available.

I have a Stolph "v Star" project about ready to cover.
Any help would be  appreciated.

      Max,
       Duncan used "Mallory Unilite" infrared optical pickups phased 180

degrees

from each other at the front pulley. Each pickup triggered a "Mallory HyFire"
box,
(Duncan used two of these) to fire both leading and trailing plugs at the same
time for
each rotor using motorcycle dual secondary coils. Do you have the "Mallory"
boxes?

        Your single rotor will have only one Infrared pickup,Coil and "Mallory"
box.
