This could also be one of the channels the EFIS

scans.

New or used Auto/motorcycle ignition points

would make

good cheap, reliable switches with a suitable

material

that melts at around 450 holding the points open

but

that borders on redneck. (((GRINS))) I'd just

like to

get a discussion going on this subject.

Awhile ago there was some extensive discussions on

the Canard Aviators list about this issue. It seemed
the concensus was to use a length of twisted pair of
solid core wires with cheap vinyl insulation (Radio
Hack) and position these in the appropriate parts of
the cowling. Not sure what temp the vinyl melts at.

list but never really got any good answers.. new list
new ideas..
