might be ok, otherwise things that talk just drive me nuts..really nuts and

I like it - how do the radio calls in and out go, could this cause a problem
with communications ?

I got a intercom that plays music. When radio calls come in the music stops
and comes back after a short delay following the completion of the radio call.
Not hard to do.
