You have got to be kidding Monty. That file was well over 5.8  meg.
You forget. Not all of us have DSL. Even zipped it was 500K

Quit whining; I have to deal with 30+meg files. 5.8 meg! a mere baby! ;-). I
don't have DSL any more either, I too am back to a slowdem. So I can't send
this to everyone. The original file is wireframe only. The second file
contains surface data. That is why the size is so much larger. The
inefficient way that Acad handles 3d is the other reason for the size.
Typically these files are downloaded from an ftp site. The whole point of
this exercise is to allow those with CAD who wish to design around the
engine to import this file into their program, thereby avoiding the tedium
of measuring and entering all the data. The first file should allow this.
They will just have to use the wireframe to build the surfaces or solids.
