I have lurked on here for over a year and I saw Tracy's airplane
at OshKosh last summer. When I saw the butchery on his RV4 cowl
I thought it must be real hard to cool a Mazda. I am not sure I want
to get into all that so I am sitting on the fence. From a business
point of view Tracy is sending a negative message. No telling how
many gear boxes and fuel injection systems he would have sold if
the cowl was more conventional looking.

Charles,
I must say I'm impressed with Tracy Cook's work on engines, PSRU
and engine management system. I was also surprised at the Photo's
shown I expected a real polished product. Perhaps Fiberglassing is
not his area of expertise. So I must agree with you on your statement,
however I never miss an opportunity to give his products the
thumbs-up.
Perhaps some day when he's better-off financially, he can pay
someone to do  those cosmetic things.
