Reference a Long-EZ, what are your thoughts on augmentation, i.e., 13B
mounted upright, with exhaust under the oil pan and 90 degree elbow, radiator
below and sloped, and oil cooler in front of the radiator, with the aug.
drawing from the back side of both.

I think it could be done without getting too fancy, but would be loud due to
short length of the exhaust pipe, etc.

Also, how about an NACA inlet with an augmentation system?  Would the inlet
work due to the forced negative pressure? In the above scenario with the oil
cooler, perhaps the inlet would have to be larger.

Saw an aug. system at Oskosh last year.  Understood it worked OK.

Also "Contact!" Issue No. 39 has an article on an aug. system.

I don't know. I never took any data on an augmented cooling system.
I suspect it could be a long R&D process.
