I have lurked on here for over a year and I saw Tracy's airplane
at OshKosh last summer. When I saw the butchery on his RV4 cowl
I thought it must be real hard to cool a Mazda. I am not sure I want
to get into all that so I am sitting on the fence. From a business
point of view Tracy is sending a negative message. No telling how
many gear boxes and fuel injection systems he would have sold if
the cowl was more conventional looking.

       Paul,
        An important point is being missed here. Those of us
that have followed the 13B development curve for the last
ten years or so and have watched the contribution Tracy
has made to that development know his RV-4 has been a test
mule for more experiments and changes than I remember. I
take my hat off to Tracy because if he had not been dragged
kicking into manufacturing his IGN/EFI and REDRIVES the
13B movement would still be basicly dead!

I think I can find someone to take over marketing, production and shipping, pay 
Tracy royalties and let Tracy do the R&D. Would give him more time to build 
his new RV8.
