Different timing on the car for smog reasons. Tracy fires both
at the same time so the engine runs about the same on either.
The pre flight RPM drop is hardly noticeable.

Does anyone have a wiring diagram for the ignition and injectors for the
injected engines?

Yes. Haynes Shop Manuals have them. Using the stock computer is tricky
but Perry Mick got it to work. Most use Tracy's computer as it is
tailored to aircraft use with a completely redundant back up system.

Here are Perry's schematics for the 13B. The 12A never had fuel injection.
