I appreciate the attached drawing.  We have been over  this before
but
sometimes (not always)  the line art that appears in the body of the
message is very faded  and hard to view. I am not assuming that this is
your problem.   Looks like a fax when the machine is about out of
ink.     The attached [dwg] files which I view in Vector Works are
perfectly

Sounds like Windows took the cue from the Mac and did not include a
standard
gif viewer like NetScape does. Which Mac gif viewer are you using?
Perhaps from
the sounds of it ("body of the message") it could be built into your
email program?
In that case which Mac email program are you using?

Who else is having problems with the gifs and what viewer are you using?

The "problem"  is solved.   I have been a little over  half of the
monitor screen ( 19 inch) for e-mail.  I just enlarged the image to full
screen and it BECAME nice and clear.     Jerry

Ah so you did not tell me that :-)> Try Linux. You will get at least
four full size virtual screens. You switch between them by clicking
on a small four quadrant icon that stays on the bottom of all four screens.
