Jerry, I just updated the Lancair drawing on the web site
to show side cowl flaps. The layout is similar to a TailWind.

thanks,  looks like I can  just wrap tubing on the upper gear mount to
provide a smooth exit path.  This thing is finally coming together at
least on paper.

   I appreciate the attached drawing.  We have been over  this before but
sometimes (not always)  the line art that appears in the body of the
message is very faded  and hard to view. I am not assuming that this is
your problem.   Looks like a fax when the machine is about out of
ink.     The attached [dwg] files which I view in Vector Works are perfectly
clear.  ....Jerry

Sounds like Windows took the cue from the Mac and did not include a standard
gif viewer like NetScape does. Which Mac gif viewer are you using? Perhaps from
the sounds of it ("body of the message") it could be built into your email program?
In that case which Mac email program are you using?

Who else is having problems with the gifs and what viewer are you using?
