Paul,
That is not a 93 13Brew tt lower manifold in your picture.
The template also looks a bit off too. Maybe that is a Cosmo type
manifold? Here is a picture of an FD 1993+ lower manifold-the one I sent
you, it is 'slightly' ported, the gasket fits nicely. I am sending you
this gasket, and will stuff in the 'engine differences' summary from
Mazda (3 pages). The intermediate housing is NOT thinner, I stand
corrected, you are right. I'm getting old and my memory is failing!!!

OK does look like the upper left bolt hole is in a different position.
It looks like it is directly under our runner.
I think we can accommodate that by drilling an access hole in the outer
runner wall and using a short metric socket head screw inside the runner.
Then you tap plug the outer hole. A trick I learned from Chevy V8 head bolts
under the intake runners. It is going to cost more to do that machine
operation.

Paul and Marc,
I spent some time today comparing the bolt patterns on my 88 6 port (same as 87-91 4 port)
intake and my 13B Jap Cosmo turbo (same as 13BREW). Here is what you are going to find when you get
Marc's 13BREW intake gasket.
The top center and two bottom inner bolts are in same position on all engines. The two bottom
outer bolts are the same distance apart (fore & aft) in all engines but are approx. 3/4 inch higher
(up) on the end housings. The top left bolt also in the same position as 86-91 engines but approx.
3/4 inch higher on rear housing. The top right bolt (frt housing)is the oddball. It is in a position
dictated by the 13BREW/13B Cosmo intake manifold. The ports are all in a higher position in the housings
of the 13BREW/13B Cosmo than the eariler 86-91 4 port and 6 port engines.
I sure hope Tom's manifold can be made to fit the 13BREW and Cosmo but it may be tough!

I won't really know until I get the gasket.
