We saw a canard flying today, first time ever.  It looked like the cozy.  It took off
from our local airport and flew over our house.  We knew it was not a certified when
we first heard it, nor one of our local ultralights.  It had it's own unique sound.
Couldn't tell if it was a rotary engine or not, but the engine sound was definately
different than anyone we have heard in the air before.
Thought it was neat.  Those canards are good looking aircraft.
You have to understand that we live in a small town in southeast Georgia, and don't
get to see anything much at the airport but 4 or 5 local certified types, and one
homebuilt. We do have an ultralight airfield though.
Anything different is exciting.
