The idea of a fan makes a lot of sense. Why use a radiator and intake
hole-duct large enough to cool on the ground and initial climb
out when you can use an electric fan and turn it off for high speed
cruise where the dynamic pressure available to force
air through the rad is four times higher?

          Glad you are finally seeing the light.  That was my
recommendation about a  year ago.   I still like the idea.   The fan
adds 2.75 inches depth to the rad.  Don't know if this is acceptable with
the rad under the engine placement but I will soon find out.   Jerry

As I recall Jerry I never really trashed the idea :-). You got any messages
to prove otherwise? :-) It will fit.

BTW Got anything worth while to show me to fly
the 182 up? I need to do that once a week to keep it from rusting.
Florida was way too far :-)
