For anyone interested, The IPAQ's have by far the brightest screens out
there. To save battery power my light (which can be incredibly bright when
needed) is turned off. I can all my data and pictures in anything from
sunlight to a darkened fluorescent lit meeting room.....I read racing
stories at lunch in my car today. Awesome screen!

On it's brightest setting I use mine as a "Windows Flashlight"... seriously
it is that bright that it works well as a flashlight. I do find that at its
lowest setting it is a bit bright for me while driving... this causes fatigue
and sleepiness in me so I turn it over.
I have used it in the car and movie theaters when I dropped something or
trying to find something in my purse. Also great for camping.
