Yes, I am.  Not looking forward to flying in with all the traffic.
Will probably get there early in the week, hoping there are fewer
planes in the air.  Can you experienced guys tell me what is the best
time to fly in and avoid lots of air traffic?  Early in the morning?
I was only at OSH once, 1990, by car.

Best time to arrive is 1 hour after civil dawn: most of the "I've gotta get
out first thing in the morning" folks have departed, but the mid-day rush
hasn't started. Worst time to arrive is immediately after the airshow
(~17:00).  Late evening is an ok time to arrive, provided you allow 30
minutes of daylight after landing in order to taxi to your parking space.
No aircraft movement permitted after dusk or during the airshow.

Here is another idea. Land at an airport nearby and monitor the OSH
tower traffic on the hand held. When things die down take off and flyin.
