Well the classic book is Rotary Engine by Kenichi Yamamoto.
There were two printings. 1969 and 1981. Both published by Toyo Kogyo
in english. You might be able to find them used on the internet.
Plus several dozen SAE and other orgs tech papers. There is a list of
those on the ACRE NL web site. I have both books and many papers so if
you have a specific technical question I can usually find the answer.
