You go to a AC sheet metal shop and have them bend it up out of
.049 4130 or if you want it really bullet prof... .065 4130.
The bend radii should be about 2 to 3 times the thickness
of the steel. A lot of AC sheet metal shops don't stock 4130 so
you will need to buy that (ACS) and take it to them.

It takes a pretty big press brake to bend .065 but .049
4130 should be no problem.

Clarification please, are you talking AC as in Air Craft or AC as in HVAC (Heating Ventilation Air Conditioning) ?
