Hi All:
Nothing new in the world at all. Prior to WW 2 safety cables were wraped around cylinder bases
and passed the engine mount and secured to the main structure. Due to the fact that props were much modified
or homemade . It was assumed that the props would fail at some time.but the cable would retain the
engine and weight in the area and help you grt the plane down safer. If you study a little history
it sometime helps
