Todd, just got off a 2 hour phone call with earthlink tech support.
Turns out they cannot guarantee emails over 5 meg.

Therefore future pdf files will be less than 5 meg each.
That probably means papers will be broken into three parts.

In the mean time I used outlook express to send you an article.
Part one was over 5 meg and initially bounced.
Outlook express is capable of breaking a message into parts.
So I sent you that broken in parts.

I hope OE can reassemble the parts on your end.
(How does it know where to split them? Does it split them in
the middle of a jpg?)

Let me know if you have problems and I will reformat it into parts
that are less than 5 meg and re-send the article to you again.

I think your plan of setting up a directory that I can ftp too
may be the best solution. Please send me the details again and mark
the message "private" to this email address.

Eureka!! Worked like a charm. In OE, Message/Combine and Decode. Then
it lets you pick the splits. It was right every time, but it would
allow me to rearrange the splits if I needed to.

I will attempt the FTP setup again. I have issues getting the firewall
setup correctly, but it is one of those things that I should figure out
any way. We can keep using OE until I get the FTP thing figured out.
