As I was looking at this information on Square Tube Elbows for intake and
exhaust manifolds, I noticed that they were available in Aluminum as well as
Stainless Steel.
Would Al square tube elbows simplify fabrication and installation of tuned
intake manifolds?

I think it would make it even more difficult. Not only is the area of the
ports different than the area of standard tubing sizes but there is an oval
on one end and something else on the other end as well. See the 3D below.

Also, square tubes have more skin friction drag and that is one reason
they are good for quieting exhaust gas pulses. They are not as good for
intakes
where you need low skin friction drag and high efficiency.

Paul, that's exactly how I shaped my intake tubes just that mine are 180
degree bends from Burns. My problem was the middle two, but I decided to
have one tube to supply both ports, since they open one at the time and the
manifold is pressurized by the turbo.

Yes but how did you cange the area of the tube to match the area of
the port? Or did you? :-)
