We have gone over most of this stuff in the past 4 1/2 years of the
newsletter.
We knew about the tension bolt problems and had a fix last summer
when Perry Mick broke a bolt. Some people choose to ignore the simple fix
and paid the price. There are a lot of messages on the ACRE NL CD about
many of the failure modes of the peripheral systems.

I am a bit behind on shipping the CD's as I am awaiting a shipment of
CD mailers. They should be in any day now.

If you would like to do the research and compilation let me know.
I'll post it on the ACRE NL web site.

Paul,

I would be interested in researching and compiling the information into a
single reference. I am going to go thru the exercise for my own education
anyway. When I get the CD I'll start with it. In the meantime I'll start
thinking of a structure and TOC.

When I started this I always intended it to be a collective effort, rather
than just my opinion. Ed Anderson has written a few excellent articles for
it, as have others in this group and I have added a number of jems from
various people in this group. I welcome contributions which capture the best
practises arrived at by the group. If you write an HTML page it is great,
but simple text files are fine also.

I got started with a flurish of activity, but once I had hit all the points
I wanted to make, kind of ran out of ideas. What I do now is wait for a
thread to reach a conconclusion then save that for editing into an article.

I think I have all of our AD's up there:
Coil Resister (needs the warning banner)
Ross gearbox thrust bearings
Redundancy on automotive coil trigger FCU (Will be upload when I get my
password)
Tension bolts
Oil pump keyway
Front cover seal (Not yet uploaded).
Leak testing the coolant installation

These articles have a Warning banner. Only titles in the index which are
blue are linked to articles. The other are there for ideas of future
articles and as a help in structuring the site for me.

A good one to add is the after market oil cooler problem. Two inflight fires and
one fatal crash and burn. Mazda engine oil pressure is higher than piston
engines. Use the stock cooler or test the after market cooler
to 125 psi.

I'll download this off Matt's site and upload it to the ACRE NL site
as a mirror with your permission Mark.
