This trick eliminates the diagonal tube on the right side
of the engine and replaces it with a cross tube from
rubber bushing mount to rubber bushing mount under the
front of the engine. Saves a bit of weight in the bargain.
This frees up a lot of room on the right side of the
engine for a really big rad. If you are planning 350 HP
out of your turbo three rotor you will need a really big rad.
I suggest taking a look at the rad in a Dodge RAM V10 or turbo
diesel pickup truck. It is approximately 32 inches wide by
24 inches high and three quarters of an inch thick. The first
half of the thickness of the rad does three quarters of the work.
This rad is super light weight, efficient and uses less heavy
antifreeze to fill it.
