When you move the motor mounts inboard to get a more
pointy tail thinks start to get tight for the turbo.

I was thinking that the mount with the bushings in the firewall would
let you have a narrower tail.  The turbo may also find some room in
blended area of the wing root.  Need to get a copy of Rhino for myself
and learn how to use it.  Got any tips to speed up the learning curve?

Perhaps but I think we might have to go to the heavy SeaWind configuration.
I'll try moving the turbo back towards the firewall in the wing root
area but I think a custom exhaust manifold and a modified water pump 
might be required. I also think we can get around the rubber bushing
stiffness and travel  problem by voiding a larger Barry mount
to make it softer. The stock RX7 motor mounts would also work but
boy are they heavy. Also they need to be restrained with a cable
in case they break. Tom Jordan uses the stock mounts in his Limo EZ.
