Subject: How bad do you want a flush rad air intake on your pusher?

I have come up with a scheme that might work. It uses the turbo
to suck the boundary layer away from a recessed parallel sided
air scoop under the fuselage. It is NOT a NACA duct!!!!
It is a conventional scoop where the air is deflected upwards towards
the bottom of the perforated fuse skin by mechanical suction from
the turbo.

You will have to make a test box and mount it on a van as I am
not sure if it will work or not work. Consequently you will also
need a fairly large test blower to simulate the turbo suction.

The turbo, at full power, can suck about 25 pounds of air per minute.
At sea level air density is about .0015 pounds per
cubic foot so the test blower would have to move about 17,000
cubic feet per minute or 280 cubic feet per second to simulate
a turbo if my calc's are right.
