Looks pretty good Don. These are pretty nit picky points and probably not
cause for concern.
The thrust on the ring gear bulkhead is normally carried by a bearing on its
face. In your design the thrust is being transmitted through the splined
neck. This will increase the stress at the corner of the bulkhead and neck.
One of the biggest problems I had with the Ross drive was related to the
lubrication scheme. I don't see how you did the distribution of oil in your
design. Could you show us how it's done?

Tracy are you talking about the thrust between the planetary carrier and the ring gear bulkhead. It is not on the dwg but I used the standard Ford part 670 for
the E4D Transmission.
The lubrication is what I am procrastinating about now. Will I use a pump or not.

I think Tracy is talking about right here.
The bulkhead in question is made from powdered metal and that is
what Tracy is concerned about I think. They can be broken if hit
with a hammer. You have room for a needle thrust bearing (shown in blue)
between the bulkhead and the clamp ring (thickened) that holds the
rear prop shaft bearing.
Also shown is my recommendation of how to get oil to the sun gear.
