We have been down the Super Trap Road. I think Lynn Hanover had some
 pity comments.

    Pity? maybe, if you have to use one. We need one at Charlotte to stay
under 103 DB, but there is a power penalty. I believe they are actually spark
arresters required for use on diesel trucks being used in National forests.
It is a stack of stainless sheet stock rings with spacers in between. Rather
large in diameter. But they do work and they seem to be indestructible.
