Engine

Mazda 13b professionally built by Bruce Turrentine
specifically for aircraft applications.  Built to the
same specs as Tracy Crook's ~190hp engine
(www.rotaryaviation.com).  It is the turbo engine with
the standard rotars for slightly higher compression
and more power.   This engine has never been run and
has *always* been kept indoors and up off the floor on
the bench.  I live in Central Oregon and it is very
dry here so the engine is basically in new shape.

Engine Accessories

All of the accessories that come with the fuel
injected engine from Bruce including:
 Mazda throttle body
 Supra throttle body (recommended by Bruce-
just the right size and much "cleaner* than the Mazda
body)
 Mazda oil cooler
 Water pump
 Starter
 Set of coils
 Injector rail and injectors
 Full gasket set
 Oil pan
 Dipstick, pulleys,  nuts and bolts, etc
 Aluminum tubing for making intake (enough to
make 2-3 depending on how you do it)
 Aluminum plate to make intake flange

Redrive
++++++
This redrive is ~95% finished (the redrive itself is
finished but hasn't been mated to the engine yet) and
is based on Mantyla's 2.17:1 design using the super
strong Chrysler Torqueflight planetary gear set.  This
makes an *extremely* strong redrive.  All of the parts
are machined from solid billet and no castings are
used.  The machining was done by a very respected
aerospace tool and die shop and they really knew what
they were doing (and charged me accordingly!!)  The
design is very solid and the workmanship excellent.
This design pumps oil through the input shaft and out
tiny holes that have been EDMed into the sun gear.
This sprays the oil directly onto the gears rather
than letting the gears run in a bath like some of the
designs.  The hub is solid steel (the hole pattern
hasn't been drilled so you can use whatever
appropriate prop you like) and is mated to the output
shaft with a tapered shaft and safety nutted with
external threads (forward of the taper).  All of this
translates into a very strong design that isn't prone
to fatigue cracking due to keyways or threads that are
cut into the shaft.  FWIW I'm a mechanical engineer
and have spent a lot of design time on this redrive
(strengthening Mantyla's design without adding excess
weight) and am very confident that it will work
*excellent* with the 13b.

The drive will have to be assembled and fitted to the
engine and the prop hub hole pattern drilled  for your
particular prop.   Also included is the bell housing,
starter ring on an aluminum plate, clutch hub, and a
variety of round stock materials for making spacers
needed to mate the redrive to the engine.

Propeller

Practically brand new Ivo Magnum 76" 3-blade cockpit
adjustable carbon prop with stainless leading edges.
This prop has only been used about 5 hours for
seaplane taxi testing  and has never been flown.  It
is in near perfect shape.

Engine Mount

This mount was professionally built by Snowline Mfg in
Bend, OR.  This is the same company that builds
certified welded components for Lancair (kit and
certified) and Aviat (Husky, Pitts).  It is very light
and very strong and includes the rubber vibration
dampeners.   The mount was designed for my V6 STOL and
will fit Pacer and Tri-Pacer style firewalls though it
no doubt could be modified for other designs.

I want to sell all of this as a package so please
don't ask me to sell components separately.  I also
strongly prefer to not ship though I would be happy to
give you room and board for a day or two if you come
to pick up the items.  I am located in Prineville
Oregon (about 40 minutes from Bend) and the first
person to show up with $6500 gets one heck of a deal
on a super engine package.
