The input shaft is only so long. If the clutch disk is too close to
the pinion carrier about the only thing you can do is make a longer
shaft and add spacers where necessary to gain space for a couple
of needle thrust bearings.

Is yours starting to give you trouble?

No, since I fixed the rear seal oil leak, its been working fine.  I'm just
trying to look ahead and figured that modifying my Ross with a thrust
bearing before it started causing a problem with the engine thrust bearing
might be a good idea.  But, so far, its still humming along. I'll check with
Tracy and Finn on the modification.

Looks like you are having a bit of fun with the Rino package and the
lithograph tool.  Be very interesting to see how that turns out in making
patterns.  Sure wish I'd had something like Rino when I was wrestling with
fitting everything under the cowl - what a great tool.

That's a good idea. Why wait till the engine thrust bearing goes away!

Rhino: IMHO I figure it will knock a year off a typical installation.
