With the Mazda RX-8's Renesis Wankel engine, they've made a racehorse out of
a donkey.
The new version generates 250HP at 8500 rpm. The Renesis Wankel engine
should consume 50% less oil and 40% less fuel as it's predecesor. On top of
that, it should meet the Euro-4 emissions rules. The side exhaust was only
made possible by the ceramic port liner which is cast into the housing. The
housing seal surface is is now a Chrome-Molybdenum alloy. Molybdenum is one
of the few materials, with which no chatter marks occur, in addition, it has
excellent lubricity.

The way this refers to chatter marks, reads as though they have changed the
rotor housing coating  from Chrome(??) to a chrome-moly alloy.

Also not that the claims of consumptions are SHOULD not WILL.
