Donkey? Since when was it a Donkey?

The Donkey is a reference to the famous Wankel quote after found out
that NSU was simplifying his engine by rotating the shaft instead of
the housing, which immediately reduced the RPM potential by a factor
of
five. He said "You have turned my racehorse into a donkey".
Speaking of racehorses, can someone help me define a trochoid
mathematically so I can get our two stroke racehorse made?

Yes. Interesting. With the rotor stationary and the housing rotating
you don't have the centrifugal rotor bearing load limitation. I wonder
if the SCCA would buy that engine? :-) Imagine! Five times the HP
in the same size engine. Boggles the mind.
Its in Kenichi Yamamotos book Rotary Engine. I'll scan it when I get a
chance.
Actually it is stationary shaft, rotor and housing that spin.
