 Strange,  I have a wood box representing the Setrab that seems to fit
 with plenty of room .   Air tight duct to the inside of the cooler,
 no way for air to go anywhere else.  Obviously, I need to think about
 this further.   Thanks,  Jerry

It is highly dependent on the exact shape of the cowl in
that area. Do you have a cowl to try it in? The cowl I sent
you renderings of is the one I am working with.

No other cowl. The one you designed is as good as it is going to get.
I'm committed to it.   Next projects in order are the oil pan, the
rad w/ plenum and then the louver panel.  Plenty of time to ponder
the oil coolers before needing to act.  jerry

I think you should try just one Setrabe back on the right side
if you have already shipped your stock oil cooler. You can always
buy and go back to a stock cooler. Both Dave Atkins and Tracy Crook
run their stock coolers in this position more or less. Both
are a bit marginal I suspect but both could be improved.

Tracy's dumps air into a somewhat over pressurized cowl so it is not
working as well as if it dumped air overboard through a set
of side mounted louvered cowl flaps. Dave's dumps air overboard
but through a set of too small fixed louvers. Dave's set up
would be real easy to improve.

Also keeps the high pressure oil plumbing short.
