ball and spring and installing a smaller Weber jet.
This was a
bad
idea, I
think the spring would have acted as a filter and kept the
debris out.
The
offending debris came from too much sealant used for
the stock
oil
filter
bypass plate. Second lesson learned: Don't use silicone sealer
anyplace
after the oil filter. Or at least use it very sparingly.
Do you use the metering oil pump OR do you add oil in your
fuel? The
metering oil pump provides relatively little oil to the
outside of the
rotor while oil in the fuel in the ratio of 1:128 or so
provides more.
But would that be enough more to make a difference in rotor
cooling.?

I run premix 128:1, no metering pump. Seems like too small amount to
make a difference in cooling, but who knows?
