I assume the one on the left is the fuel pressure
pulse damper. Correct? are you not running that Tracy?
Mine looks like it is getting ready to fail as the plastic
has turned yellow and has become brittle.
The pressure regulator has an input for manifold pressure
it looks like. Correct?

Correct.  I do use the damper but plan to remove it soon due to the

history

of leaks on them.  Ed removed his and noted no problems.

I don't, Paul.  I removed the pulse dampner on the recommendation of a
friend in California who has run  a Rotary repair shop for over 20 years.
He believes its not "IF", but "When" the diapgram will crack and permit fuel
to drip on the hot exhaust.  I have found no problem with its removal.

Mine won't drip on the exhaust as it is on the cold side of the engine.
My inclination is to get a later improved model without the screw and use it.

If we had that high speed pressure data acquisition system we could use it
here as well. 

BTW Ed if you need help with the PIC programing don't hesitate to ask.
This is a legitimate forum for that sort of thing as we will all
benefit. There is a whole heck of a lot we don't know about what we
are doing. A high speed solid state data acquisition system would 
go a long way towards filling in the gaps.
