Also I have a fix for the stock waste gate that tends to over
boost when the back pressure on the turbine is reduced.
Make a new steel back cover for the turbine housing and weld in
a separate pipe for the waste gate. The stock wall behind the
stock waste gate has the same problem as a rad too close to the
firewall. In other words it restricts flow.

BTW Chrissi I plan on manually setting (with a bleed valve) the
max boast on the stock 89-91 auto boost controller from the
instrument panel.

Isn't it the case that some BIG aircraft engines have a gradual
closing of the wastegate for the last stages of throttle opening ?
Also - some ww2 piston engines have a separate lever for " Boost "
which is linked to the wastegate ?

BTW film based cameras over here are falling right down in price ! I
still don't like expensive but plasticky digital ones .....

Cheers - Bryan

Try one Bryan you will love it. I recommend the Sony versions
with the floppy disk. Perfect for the Internet and very very easy
to transfer files to any computer that you might find yourself
in front of.
