Good point, there certainly was a lot of interest shown - even by the
judges. But,  I don't think any of us would have even entered the
judging
had we know there was not going to be an Auto conversion award.
Certainly
many aircraft there were more cosmetically enhanced that our birds.

But, the audience did get the treat of a 3 rotor flyby and who knows-
that
may have made as big an impression as anything.  So far, I have not been
to
a flyin where the flying rotary was outnumbered.  However, It would be
nice
to see some new airframes and faces of flying rotaries at flyins.  I've
looked over Finns and Tracy's aircraft so many times I know them by
heart
{:>).  So common folks lets get to work on those projects and get them
to
flyins {:>).
