I think there is little doubt I could use help with the PIC

where its
worthwhile for someone with experience to take a look at the code. I

appears to work in the simulation does work when burnt to the chip.
Ed,
While I'm not an experienced PIC programmer, I do have about 25 years
experience
as a software designer in a variety of programming environments,
including
assembly and Unix kernel, and if you'll forgive the heaping helping of
immodesty,
I'm pretty darn good. Let me know if/how you want my help.

Thanks Russell, I appreciate the offer. I am writting the code for a PIC
Microchip 18F252 (but it should run on any of the 18XX chips) chip. I am
writting it in assembly because I don't think Basic would do the job and I
find Assembly easier to follow than "C". If you could send me your e mail
address, we can decided how best to approach this animal without cluttering
up Paul's list.
Paul claims your only 35 so that makes you just a little over half my age,
so its an old dog trying to learn new tricks, you'll be dealing with {:>).
I have a number of fragments written dealing with the major functions to
prove to myself that its feasible, but I now need to complete some code for
the A/D converter module so I can read an O2 sensor for Air/Fuel mixture
ratio indication. The rest of the code I'll explain in detail off the list.
My e mail is eanderson@carolina.rr.com
Look forward to hearing from you
