That means his airplane is flying at 200 MPH on only
about 60 HP. Possible I guess.
200 MPH is 293 FPS. Assume a prop eff. of .85 so
60 engine HP means 51 net thrust HP. 51 times
550 = 28,000 pound feet per second HP. Divided by 293 FPS =
96 pounds of drag. Dynamic pressure at
200 MPH is 104 pounds per square foot at sea
level. Or half that up where the density is half.
So that gives him a flat plate area around two.
Quite possible.
