BTW, I am not sure if you realised, but the NSU engine capacity is that of
the Mazda 10A, or roughly 982cc, it makes about 120HP ( apparently) There
appears to be little room for port enlargemet, as the port walls are quite
thin, I beleive the NSU Wankel spider engine can cope with a large amount of
porting on both Intake and Exhaust., must be a different casting I guess.

Yes I know NSU used a different water circulation scheme so it might
not be possible to enlarge the intake and exhaust ports.
The rotor housing looked in great shape.

I am intensely interested in this engine. The RO80 was a large
car and it accelerated rather well. Are you sure it is only
982 cc?
