Paul,
After I cut off the neck, and am in the process of cleaning out the web, I
find that the 1-3/8 tube (to interface with Wiggins) that I want to use for
the outlet doesn't cover all the opening of the water pump.  Did you use a
plate under the tubing to bridge that area? Doesn't look like it from the
photos.

Also, I am guessing that you used Aluminum pipe, since you could machine the
neck. What size?

Yes or you can use a thicker wall al pipe and turn it on the lathe
to fit the wiggins. The thicker wall will weld easier to the
water pump. I'll look around and see what I have that will work.
I'll turn it on the lathe and send it to you. Are you going to
bond on the wiggins on to the pipe? It will be easier if
you weld it on as then you can use larger pipe.

Send me a picture of what you have so far. Here are a few pics for 
those that are not familiar with wiggins.
