Scanned images are another matter entirely.
You need a special program for that.
BTW I will give a seminar on Rhino at Tracy's flyin this week.

TurboCAD has the ability to convert a JPG to a CAD file. Works best on line
drawings of course and the resulting cad file usually needs some cleanup but
much easier than starting from scratch.
Looking forward to getting a look at Rhino. Those 3Ds look great.
