There was much recent discussion on NACA ducts.  While the aircraft that we are building should
never go anywhere near icing conditions, I just wanted to dispel the idea held in some General
Aviation circles in the past that NACA inlets are non-icing.  In our U. S. Army testing of the
RC-12 ( Special Mission Super King Air ) aircraft in natural icing conditions, every NACA inlet on
the aircraft, including special pods, had ice buildup in the ducts.
