Paul,

Purchased your CD last spring and have been unable to open it until I
received the above mssg.  Took your suggestion to download Netscape 4.8 on
Windows 98.

Am now able to read the files, but the attachments, which I assume to be
pictures,
appear only in computer code.

Any suggestions on how to break out the attachments/photos will be
appreciated.

That is strange. You found the nsmail subdirectory and loaded all the files
into that. If you then go into Edit > Preferences > Advanced > set
Automatically Load images to on.

You are in Messenger and not Navigator or Composer I assume. Do the Months 
(1998-04) appear in the box to the right of Messenger under Local Mail?
