Hi again,
So did you want more photos of the running engine, or the dissassembled
engine, ..or both, maybe a piece by piece photo-essay of the
dissassembled
one would be informative..
BTW, I am not sure if you realised, but the NSU engine capacity is that
of
the Mazda 10A, or roughly 982cc, it makes about 120HP ( apparently)
There
appears to be little room for port enlargemet, as the port walls are
quite
thin, I beleive the NSU Wankel spider engine can cope with a large
amount of
porting on both Intake and Exhaust., must be a different casting I
guess.

You got it running? Great Case. How does it run?
Yes I know NSU used a different water circulation scheme so it might
not be possible to enlarge the intake and exhaust ports.
The rotor housing looked in great shape.
Yes on a piece by piece photo essay of the disassembled engine.
I am intensely interested in this engine. The RO80 was a large
car and it accelerated rather well. Are you sure it is only
982 cc?

Case,
I have just returned from the USA and am catching up on my 2,500 messages.
It appears that Paul forgot to suspend me during this time (3 months)- what
the heck there was some good info while I was away.
Anyhow, what is the NSU compare to the 10A in regard to weight.
You say 120 HP.
What about parts etc are they readily available.
George (down under -again) Brisbane
Sorry George :-)
